In March 2021, Davis co-founded Atlanta-based marketing agency Majority, which was designed to make sure diverse voices are heard more loudly in advertising. She describes Majority as a mission-driven agency that’s based on diversity-led talent. Nixing the term “multicultural,” Majority describes itself as “an agency for the culture.” At Majority, Davis developed the strategy for “Vax That Thang Up” for dating app BLK, which inspired vaccine adoption in the Black community. The campaign anthem was a play on Juvenile’s 20-plus year-old hit, “Back That Thang Up” (feat. Lil’ Wayne and Mannie Fresh). Davis also led Majority’s insights on “Today is Someday,” the back-to-school campaign for OshKosh B’gosh featuring superstars Mariah Carey, Muhammad Ali and Outkast. An 18-year Atlanta advertising vet with expertise in integrated marketing, communications, media planning, and creative strategy, Davis has held positions at several agencies. Prior to Majority, she most recently served as Group Director of Planning at Huge, where she honed her skills in consumer insights, and creative strategy. She’s also worked at BBDO Atlanta, 360i, and Moxie, developing campaigns for brands like Verizon Wireless, Autotrader, L'Oréal, and Norwegian Airlines. As a strategist, she loves to dig into data to dispel myths and uncover insights into human behaviors. Davis is a board member of BLAC, an internship program founded by a coalition of small agencies and backed by Procter & Gamble. BLAC aims to bring more young Black people into advertising, ensuring they can fully express themselves, find community, and ultimately lead.
