Courtney Nelson

Courtney Nelson is the newly hired Managing Director of TBWA\Chiat\Day, LA. Prior to joining the agency, Courtney spent 12 years at Wieden+Kennedy managing various global accounts including Nike, P&G, Instagram, TurboTax and Levi’s. She is a strategic thinker and a devout champion of creative work.

Prior to W+K, Courtney spent nine years working at other well-respected agencies including Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, TBWA\Chiat\Day, and Deutsch LA. During that time she gained a wealth of experience across a myriad of brands including Hewlett-Packard, Saturn, Adobe, and Dreyer’s Ice Cream.

Courtney was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. An avid sportswoman, she is competitive by nature and enjoys running, yoga and spending time outdoor. She balances her busy life by spending quiet time at home with her husband, Kurt, and their two young children.
